Do I need special hardware?

No. AuthBeast works with any Wi-Fi access point or VPN gateway that supports WPA2-Enterprise/802.1X and RADIUS. This includes MikroTik, Ubiquiti UniFi, Cisco Meraki, TP-Link Omada, and many others.

Why not just use a shared Wi-Fi password?

Shared passwords are a security risk. When an employee leaves, you have to change the password on every device in the office. With AuthBeast, each user has their own login. To revoke access, you simply disable their account in the dashboard.

Is there a free tier?

Yes! AuthBeast is free forever for up to 16 users. For larger teams, we offer simple flat-rate pricing.

Do I need to install a server?

No. AuthBeast is a fully managed cloud service. We host the RADIUS servers and Identity Provider (IdP) for you. You just configure your network gear to point to our cloud.
